Doula Care Planning
Planning should be scheduled prior to your 30th week of pregnancy. Two hours of time together, preferably in your home where I can familiarise myself with the location of everything, discussing what your journey looks like to you. We discuss how I can support you in your pregnancy, during your labour & birth and your Postpartum Care.
Labour & Birth Support
I provide non-medical support for your birth journey. What my support looks like for your birth is completely up to you, but every one of these options includes a 24/7 On-call period of one week before your estimated due date up until baby's birth day. In my Doula bag for your birth is copies of your Birth Plan, homemade labour support Bone Broth, aromatherapy, labour wraps, bluetooth speaker, massage oil, your birth affirmations, Post-birth nourishing soup, and anything else we discuss!
Antenatal Care
Your choice of 2-hour visits at your home, where you are most comfortable. These visits include discussing your options of care, general education for your birth, demonstration of the techniques I use for labour & how to prepare your body, education on how your birth partner can support you, possible debriefing of a previous traumatic birth, and evidence-based information on anything which can empower your birth and birth choices.
Birth Debrief
Two hours in your home where you are free to express yourself in any way you need, debriefing your Birth experience. This debrief allows you to process your birth by discussing your experience and asking questions. I provide you with evidence-based information to help you through this process. A birth debrief is imperative, regardless how positive it may have been. Debriefing your birth can prevent or reduce your risk of developing Postpartum Depression, Anxiety, or Psychosis. If necessary, I can also refer you to other services to help you further.
Birth Planning
Two hours dedicated to planning your most positive birth experience! Planning your birth empowers you in making informed choices and informs your Care Providers of what your most positive birth experience looks like and how you are going to achieve that. Planning your birth also gives you a sense of control over your birth choices, which contributes to a positive birth experience.
Postpartum Care
Choice of the amount of 3/4-Hour Care visits, dedicated to the care of you and babe as well as one overnight support visit. My support is unique to each family, but to give a general idea it includes basic breastfeeding support & education, education & general baby settling and care support, care of the mother, abdominal massage & Bengkung (traditional Indonesian abdominal binding), fostering the mother-baby dyad, light housekeeping, and custom tea or essential oil blends if needed.
